Community Involvement Program | Supporting our neighbors
Children's Theatre of Charlotte partners with area schools with the firm belief that the arts are an integral part in preparing all students for success in college, career and life. Whether part of an afterschool enrichment program or an in-school residency during the day, our classes develop skills for students, such as self-confidence, public speaking, collaboration, and empathy.
We partner with organizations helping underserved communities. Our theatre enrichment programs create opportunities for young people to explore and develop different theatre skills, such as voice, movement, scene work, process drama, and script writing. Classes are tailored to best suit the needs of each individual site and can range from a single meeting to multiple meetings over several weeks.
