A little boy awakens Christmas morning to discover a Velveteen Rabbit among his gifts. Adored at first, then cast to the toy box, the Rabbit is snubbed by the other toys for being old-fashioned. Over time, a friendship blossoms. The Velveteen Rabbit learns what it means to be truly loved by the Boy - and the smiles and tears that come from being "real". Adapted from the classic book, this poignant story has charmed generations of families and continues to be cherished by audiences today.

  How do I get started?

  1. Purchase On Demand Access via our streaming partner, Broadway On Demand, using the "Buy Now" button above. All streams are $21.95.

During our 2020-21 virtual season you can purchase any of our streaming productions as a gift using the "Buy as Gift" button above. Once your purchase is complete you'll be given an access code to share with your recipient. They can activate the code anytime within the show's streaming schedule, and once activated can view the show for 72 hours.

  • You can download the BOD app from the App Store on your Apple TV. Click this link to navigate directly to the App Store.
  • If your Smart TV has the Chromecast feature, you can cast content from the mobile app to your TV.
  • BOD does not have a Samsung TV app for BOD, but if your TV has SmartCast you can cast your content from a mobile app to your TV.

How do I reach BOD customer service?
You can contact us by emailing info@broadwayondemand.com. You can also call (332) 255-4180 Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (US holidays excepted).

I have streaming issues. What can I do?
BOD is best suited to be viewed using a Google Chrome browser.

If you continue to have trouble, we suggest clearing your browser cache and cookies and restarting the website. Troubleshooting for Roku and AppleTV, please try to refresh your app.

Also, please make sure you have a strong Wi-Fi/Internet connection: A download speed of at least 25.0Mbp per stream is recommended to receive Ultra HD (1080p or higher) and HDR content.
