Foundations
- Grades 3-12 | $400
For students who are new to the SOTT program. Launch into skills training in a fun, yet professional setting. Reduced text work and memorization helps students focus on making connections with others “in the moment.” This class inspires confidence for beginning actors to make bold choices in performance.
Acting students connect with their vocal, physical, and imaginative skills to better express dramatized situations.
Musical Theatre students connect with those same skills, but as they relate to music. They also receive weekly group singing lessons.
Core - Grades 4-12 | $400
For students who complete a Foundations class. Take the next step by working with scripted materials and play analysis. Learn about the "business of acting" which includes creating a resume and receiving a professional headshot. Additionally, we help students with choice and preparation of audition materials.
Acting students read a full-length play, using it for scene and monologue work. They receive coaching for two, contrasting 60-second monologues.

Musical Theatre students read a full-length musical, using it for scene, monologue, and song work. They receive coaching for a 60-second monologue and 16-32 bar cut of a song.

Focus - Grades 5-12 | $400
For students who complete a Core class. Continue to grow as a performer with specialized concentrations that change each year. Students build on earlier experiences, challenging them to dig deeper into their training. Students may enroll in Focus classes for many years before auditioning for Conservatory classes.
Acting: Crush That Callback - An actor needs to make quick choices in performance. Nowhere is that more important than in than in a callback for an audition! This class gives you the tools for speedy script analysis and how to put those choices into action.

Musical Theatre: Broadway Bound - Develop a unique collection of material for future auditions. Weekly intensives lead students through “dance calls” and “cold reads.” Students also prepare their own selections to highlight personal types and strengths.

Tech - Grades 6-12 | $275/for 10 weeks
For students who have an interest in technical theatre or design elements. Work alongside our New Works class in the creation of their original play. Tech students will build the props, costumes, and set pieces used in performance. Additionally, they serve as running crew during its tour in the community.
