Students who are new to the SOTT program launch into skills training in a fun, yet professional setting. Whether jumping into a 20-week acting class or a 10-week dance class, we have the beginner in mind. Click here to learn more about our dance offerings.
By presenting the vocabulary and concepts in an approachable way, these classes inspire confidence for beginning actors to make bold choices in performance. Our 2023-24 SOTT classes will go on sale to our Donors ($500+ level) on May 9; for our season subscribers and current education families on May 11; and to the general public on May 18. Class titles below subject to change.

Foundations of Theatre

4th-12th Grade | $475 | 20-weeks
We’ll explore both aspects of acting and musical theatre to create a solid experience on which to build. Students focus on making connections with others “in the moment” with reduced text work and memorization.

Tech Theatre

6th-12th Grade | $375 | 10-weeks
For students who have an interest in technical theatre or design elements. Work alongside our New Works class creating the props, costumes, and set pieces used in their performance.
