Students who have completed a Foundations class begin working with scripted material and exploring the business of acting which includes creating a resume and receiving a professional headshot for use. Additionally, students are guided in the selection and preparation of audition materials.

  • Acting curriculum includes movement for the actor and one-minute monologue selection.
  • Musical Theatre content covers choreography basics and 16-32 bar cut of a song.
  • Audition preparation includes cold readings and prepared pieces.
  • Stanislavski intermediates covered: text analysis, beats of action, method of physical action
