Our 1-week and 2-week camps offer teens an exciting experience in foundational performing arts training. Designed for new and returning students, these camps are the perfect fit for young actors who want to dive into a specific topic or explore the rehearsal process in a fun, active, and engaging environment. Behind-the-Scenes (Tech)

Students work with the professional technical staff at Children’s Theatre of Charlotte to explore and apply basic technical theatre skills which may include props, scenic painting, costumes, and design.

Disney’s Camp Rock One-Act Edition (Musical)

A classic story of rivalry and power, Disney's Camp Rock: The Musical opens with Mitchie and her friends arriving at Camp Rock ready to spend another summer jamming out and having the time of their lives. But the new, flashy Camp Star across the lake now threatens Camp Rock's very existence. To keep the doors open, Mitchie steps up, rallies her fellow Camp Rockers, and gets them into top shape for the ultimate showdown!

Creativity knows no bounds in the New Works Camp, a unique experience where students become playwrights of their own original plays! In this NEW innovative camp, campers will embark on a thrilling journey of devising and developing an entirely new short play from start to finish. The experience will culminate in a reading of the plays by professional actors on the final day of camp!
