6th - 12th Grade | Offered at ImaginOn | Tuition $520 | 20-weeks

Students who have completed and mastered the concepts of Launch and Foundations class are invited to take classes at the Core level. Students choose either the Acting or Musical Theatre pathway (see breakdown below). Core classes build upon the skills learned in previous levels while deepening the student’s knowledge of technique and practice. Classes at the Core level are rigorous, and Teaching Artists continue to help students understand the importance of work ethic and commitment in classes.
These classes are specifically designed for the student who…
  • has completed the appropriate level Foundations class:
    Acting Pathway: Theatre Lab ► Broadway Bound OR Acting Studio
    Musical Theatre Pathway: Broadway Bound ► Triple Threat Boot Camp OR Theatre Lab
  • has a basic understanding of stagecraft and beginning understanding of western acting technique
  • understands and practices ensemble work
  • respects and honors audience etiquette
  • shows self-motivation and discipline enough to show regular commitment to class and classmates
  • is ready and eager to do outside work (i.e. reading scripts, memorizing lines/music, repetition of material, etc)

Acting Studio

6-8 Grade, 9-12 Grade | Offered at ImaginOn | Tuition $520 | 20 Weeks
Embark on an enriching journey of self-discovery and artistic growth in Acting Studio, an intermediate-level class rooted in the principles of western acting methods. Students will dive deeper into character development, text work, and storytelling techniques as they explore the beginnings of scene work. Students are also introduced to audition prep best practices, and receive a monologue in class for use in auditions. This class is ideal for students with prior acting experience looking to expand their repertoire and deepen their understanding of the craft.

Triple Threat Boot Camp

6-8 Grade, 9-12 Grade | Offered at ImaginOn | Tuition $520 | 20 Weeks
This class builds on the skills gained in Broadway Bound. Sharpen your acting, vocal, and dance skills in this intermediate-level musical theatre class. Students will dive into a comprehensive curriculum that includes a unified blend of individualized vocal work, advanced choreography, and in-depth character development. Through studio sessions, technique instruction, and ensemble collaboration, students are held to a rigorous standard of musical theatre performance.
Registration Dates: Registration is now open for our Donors ($500+) and families enrolled in 2023-24 Creative Drama classes and/or School of Theatre Training. Registration opens Thurs, May 9, for 2023-24 and 2024-25 Season ticket Subscribers & families registered for our 2023 or 2024 Summer Camps. Registration opens to the general public on Thurs, May 16.
