Celebrate! Back to the 80's - Flashback to the fashion, music and games that make the 80's, like, totally awesome, dude!

ImaginOn will be filled with your favorite arcade games, food, and music from the 80's at this year’s Celebrate! Support Childrens' Theatre of Charlotte by sipping on Tab cocktails, eating Steakums, and chilling in our Atari lounge. We'll also have adult Capri Suns, Pizza Bagel Bites, a TV dinner station that is chef prepared - along with skeeball, basketball, pinball, and Pacman. Live auction highlights include items autographed by Cam Newton and Christian McCaffreey, Disney tickets, a trip to NY with Giants tickets, Hornets tickets, floor seats for the Rolling Stones at Bank of America stadium, and a mixology session with Dot Dot Dot's master mixologist! Note: this event is for ages 21 and up.

OMG you guys, like, what do I even wear?

The 80's offered an eclectic collection of fashion trends so choose the style that best fits your personality.

Rock Star - Acid washed, bleached and ripped jeans or black leather pants. A tight t-shirt with the sleeves ripped off or a spandex tank top. Add a long-haired wig to finish off the look. This is the most important part.
Fitness Freak - A leotard paired with leg warmers and a large sweatshirt does the trick. Go full on Flashdance and cut out the neck of the sweatshirt.
Preppie Look - Start with a pure khaki bottom. Add a brightly-colored polo - Izod preferred - with the collar up and a sweater tied around the shoulders, or a Members Only jacket. Penny loafers complete this refined look.
Punk Power - A leather vest is key. Look for bright colors of temporary hair color to add to your hair – or maybe even a wig. Dark eye makeup, a nose ring, red lipstick and a choker-style necklace are the accessories you need.
Formal Attire - Puffy sleeves, bright colors and lots of organza. Pull out your own 80s prom dress or raid the closets of friends and family who grew up in the 80s. A thrift store is also a good place to look for this vintage find. Don’t forget rhinestone jewelry and a wrist corsage.
